Do I have to poop in a bucket?
Today we returned from our sailing trip from La Paz to Loreto! Our friend's boat is very cute, and I was excited to see all the islands we were going to visit. Before we started to sail, I asked Mr. Brown one question: Do I have to poop in a bucket?" He answered, "Do you want to poop in a bucket?" "No..." I say. "Well then, I got the flusher all fixed." I was like, hooray! No pooping in buckets. Well, later on the flusher didn't work so I had to poo in a bucket. Dang it. It's a very humbling experience. See, I'm the kind of person who never wants to see or smell my poo again. Ever. I like it when I push a lever and flush.... it's gone. BAM. Out of sight. But I just roughed it. Yay me! We saw lots of dolphins and manta rays jumping out of the sea. I did get seasick a lot, but it was still fun. We also went to the island of Los Gatos, where the sand is so soft. I got an empty Starbucks frappuccino bottle, and I filled it with the sand a put pretty little shells in it as a gift for my mom. Now, I am home writing this, and I still feel like I'm rocking. But overall, it was an amazing experience.

Gran Sueno
I took a trip to La Paz today to meet up with some friends on their sailboat and sail back to Loreto! We needed to get some things in La Paz, because it has all the good stores like Walmart and Sam's Club. And when we were in La Paz we went to a wonderful resort called , "Gran Sueno." The beach was beautiful, and the sand was as soft as silk! There was a big restaurant and upstairs there was a big tunnel wrapping around the walls for little kids to crawl through. They have about 5 pools! One had a water slide. I was hoping to get like a manicure or pedicure or something, but no, you have to reserve first. But my friend and her little brother an I had a horseback riding lesson! It was soooo scary. Picture yourself on a fast trotting horse feeling like you could fall off any second. The horses very beautiful though, and I fed some of them after the lesson. My friend and I loved exploring the big resort. It was actually the first resort I have ever been to! I definitely recommend it to all.

Masters Tournament of Loreto Bay
Today I went to our golf tournament, which my mom and dad organized. The winner got a green "jacket" which was really a poncho. The money left from buying coupons and mulligans ended up paying for the community center's new bookshelves. I didn't play, but my mom and I drove the golf cart on the little path besides my dad and his team. Nobody could have picked a better day. The sun was shining, the sea was calm, and there were a couple of clouds scattered here and there across the open sky. There were five teams, all having four men or women. At the end of the tournament, my dad's team ended up winning! It was really fun, and I think I kind of like golf now. It's a peaceful sport.

AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Today my friend and I took a boat to Coronado Island. We saw a little pod of whales. We didn't know exactly which kind they were, but they kind of looked like fin whales. We also saw tons and tons of dolphins!! The beach was amazing! The sand was white, and the water was a beautiful blue. Anyway, my friend and I were playing catch, and our inner tube was in shallow water. All of the sudden it drifts off really far. I was already in the water, so I had to get it. It was so terrifying! I was running out of air, and with every paddle I took it only got farther away. Once I was out there, I realized that I really needed the raft to float on. It was sort of deep when I finally reached it! I was so worn out..... it was traumatizing. I'm really scared of the ocean, partly because of how it's so big, and the other is because of the animals inside it. I came back crying, it as soooo scary.

Easter!
Easter was very fun! My parents hosted an Easter Social and egg hunt. In one of the eggs, there is 100 dollars! So we all grabbed our baskets (mine was a cute lamb) and headed towards the pool, where it was being held. I couldn't wait to get started! I thought I might have won the egg, considering there were only 13 kids doing the hunt. But a little kid named Bubby found it! I was happy for him, I thought that he really deserved it. I met a lot of new girls about my age at the hunt. I was actually surprised at how many kids showed up. Anyway, it was really fun!! :))

Dolphin Day! HOORAY!
Today I went on a boat ride to the island of Danzante with some of my parent's friends. My dad looked up weather reports, and they said that the wind would be calm. Well, it wasn't what you call "calm." It was really windy, but we still had fun. On the way to the island, we saw a pod of dolphins! I'm not exactly what kind they were, but they were absolutely adorable! I've loved dolphins ever since I was little. I always thought it was cool how they saved lives and stuff. Anyway, they were all around us trying to catch the waves of our little boat! Afterwards, we anchored our boat close to the island and ate lunch. The beach was really rocky, so we all decided to stay and hang on the boat. On the way back I took a short nap in the sun. I was home school free today! WOO HOO! And that ends our day on the boat.

Tonight I took a beautiful moonlit walk on the golf course with my mom, dad, and my small dog, Chloe. The moon was a very dimmed orange. Everybody always says that they see a man's face in the moon, but I never thought of it that way. I always saw a rabbit in the moon. Not that that matters.
I swam at the pool with my dad, hoping to get a nice tan. It wasn't hard, considering the sun is always shining. I'm running out of things to do here. Mmmmm.... paint, swim, read, walk. What else??
The food here is very good. We (mom, dad, and I) ate at a wonderful restaurant last night called "The Palapa." It was, of course, a palapa. I ordered the lobster, and it was absolutely amazing. The waiters were really nice and the atmosphere was beautiful. Later that night, we stopped at the carnival. The rides looked so dangerous and fast that we didn't get on one. You never know when one of the rides might break and you'll go flying out of it, hit another ride, have a concussion, and die. But hey, there's Mexico for ya.
